COVID-19 Safety Protocols

Dear Parents,

We are following CDC and Licensing Guidelines.

Along with that, we are also taking some additional steps for COVID-19 prevention at our facility. The aim is to ensure the best care and learning for your child along with providing peace of mind to you as a parent that your child is in a safe and healthy environment. All teachers are fully vaccinated and we shall only allow adults in the preschool who are either fully vaccinated or can provide a COVID-19 negative test report.

  • We will not be accepting any Little Scholars with any sign of cold/cough/eye rash or any other sickness signs at all, including all COVID-19 symptoms. He/she will be sent back home from the check-in point.

  • If any teacher or parent has a family member exposed to COVID-19 symptoms it is our moral duty to keep ourselves and our children home until confirmed.

Update as of 3/6/2022 (mask mandate removed):

  1. We require either your child's COVID-19 negative test report or one parent’s taken within 72 hours of the start date of your child. This is to ensure no child coming to preschool at the start of the session is a carrier of COVID-19.

    1. If both parents are fully vaccinated, you may submit a photo or scan of both your vaccination cards instead of a negative COVID-19 test.

  2. We are very happy to carry an inventory of disposable kids masks for your child and will provide a new one every day at check-in.

  3. In order to provide a sense of cleanliness for preschool as well as once your child heads back home for your home as well, we require you to provide a brand new pair of shoes for your child to be kept at school. At check-in, we will switch to preschool shoes and at pick up, they will leave those shoes at school.

  4. We have created an indoor-outdoor classroom environment with extensive fresh air and ventilation, with multiple touch-less hand sanitizing stations, touch-less soap dispensers, tissue paper dispensers, etc.

    1. We encourage you to send your child with sunscreen applied each morning! We will not be applying sunscreen at school.

  5. Our outdoor classroom is equipped with multiple picnic tables with umbrellas for shade kept 8-10 feet apart for dining and other activities.

  6. We will use indoor space with doors and windows open for fresh air circulation at all times.

DAILY Pick-Up Protocols:

  • You Must wear a mask (covering your nose AND chin) when you come to pick up your child.

  • We will be regularly wiping and sanitizing our doorbell and door handles.

  • Preschool shoes are left here, please bring your home shoes to change into.

  • Throw away your mask from the day (if using disposable).

DAILY Arrival & Drop Off Protocols:

  • Valet drop-off to reduce interactions and exposure

    • You must wear a mask (covering your nose AND chin) at drop-off if you are coming to the door.

  • Touch-less temperature check.

  • Check for any signs of sickness.

  • Sanitize hands.

  • Wear a face mask.

  • Change into preschool shoes.

All parents must wear a mask and practice social distancing during pick-up and drop-off. Please, please be mindful of others and wear a mask during pick up and drop off (regardless of vaccination or not).
